Professional Experience

Dr. Daniel Sens advises companies on all aspects of data protection and IT law.

He has extensive knowledge in these areas, having worked for several years in various major international law firms and as a trainee lawyer at the Hamburg data protection supervisory authority and the compliance department of a Japanese medical technology group.

His dissertation on the GDPR's principle of purpose limitation in machine learning and other works that shed light on legal problems in connection with medical diagnostics and the protection of minors in the Internet of Things qualify him in particular for holistic legal advice on the operational use of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence.

He also works for beck Service GmbH. In this capacity he acts as an external data protection officer for companies.
